8:30 am: Hotel pick-up. Travel up the mountain road through Doi Suthep–Pui National Park to Doi Suthep Temple, Chiang Mai’s most important temple at 1,100 meters above sea level. Walk up 306 steps or take the funicular. See the golden pagoda, Buddha relic, and murals, and receive a blessing from a monk. Enjoy panoramic views of Chiang Mai from the terrace.
Doi Pui Hmong Village: Continue ascending the mountain for 8 km to reach the Hmong Village, a community that has been home to the Hmong Tribe for nearly half a century.
